When I read the letter from Heather Kimball, I learned many helpful things from what type of workdays she has to the hardest things she faces. Many departments get involved with crime scenes and if the case has a crime scene and the officers request the Csi's they step in, most of the time they have crime cases that have to be worked in the lab like DNA prepossessing and finger print prepossessing. Some times they have known suspects so the leads are easy to follow. The cases they have maybe from a year to a month or even more time. Everyday is different and they get requests from the patrol and may have to do laboratory prepossessing, on the other hand they may have to process a scene or vehicle. Heather works from 8 to 5 Monday through Friday, she rotates from being on call every two weeks on friday, when their on call they have to stay close to the department and in usually it has to be really important to be called in. She said the hardest part was when you have a line of duty and a friend close to you gets killed, when you work the job you put your life upon the line you have to respect that and be careful. Many times work is slow in the winter when every one is inside. In the summer more people are out so there are more cimes. Either way they always have something to do even when it's cold outside.
